The very fit and energetic members of Warwick Boat Club Squash Section took part in a 24 hour Squashathon for World Squash Day on Saturday 13th October. Graeme Mascall said: “We did it! A full 24hours of squash! What a fantastic effort from everyone involved. The total raised for The Friendship Project last we checked was over £1700! Definitely a success for the club and our chosen charity”. Cheryll Rawbone, Chairman of the Friendship Project commented: “It is brilliant to have the support of the Warwick Boat Club who achieved this fantastic 24 hour feat. On a practical level, we would also like to say thank you for their help with free lessons and kit for the disadvantaged local children too”.  The Friendship Project is a Warwickshire-wide charity that helps disadvantaged children by providing volunteers for friendship and fun.
